Each Day I Pray

Each day I pray to fall in love in every way, seeing beauty in so many places regardless of what critics may say.

Each day I pray to have greater self-control, as I calm my emotions and bond with each soul. 

Each day I pray to see the world through a higher awareness, and to help others resolve what may seem to them, life's unfairness.

Each day I pray to be kinder and wiser and to forgive the ills that otherwise would make my heart a miser.

And if at the end of the day the world is a little better, may I be thankful, I pray.
